Anthony Robbins is a motivational speaker, best selling author, business and personal development coach and to me, a beast in Neurolinguistic programming. His books and work have always made a positive impact on me therefore I wanted to share what I recently came across.

The five steps we can use to regain control of our lives.

Even if you are a disbeliever of such things (self-development etc.), it cannot hurt if you try them out!

Step 1: Capture

Whether it’s on a piece of paper, a productivity app, or an excel spreadsheet, the important thing is to get it out of your head and onto a place with ease of access. Items floating in your head create stress.

Step 2: Create a plan

This step is all about asking the right questions. What do I want and why do I want it? By when? How can I get it? How much effort am I willing to put into it?

Step 3: Commit and schedule

Be accountable to yourself (or you can ask other people to join in and keep you accountable) and really commit to your schedule.

Step 4: Complete and achieve

Execution, action and pride!

Step 5: Celebrate!

The best step of all! Now you can enjoy the benefits of your efforts and go onto your next goal!

If this sounds simple, it’s because it is!!! However, its simplicity does not make it easy. We often stumble on our commitment and quit before ever reaching the end of step 4! So,I hope you follow through to all 5 steps in whatever it is you want to do!
