Gustave Lorentz, Fleurelle – the floral white:
Fleurelle means floral, which means happiness, spring, blooming, new beginnings and life. 🌷☀️🌻
This white wine comes from the fairy tale region of Alsace, France. It is a blend of three grape varieties: Muscat, Pinot Blanc and Sylvaner.
With a yellow gold, brilliant colour that beautifully catches the light of the sun rays, it exhales a very expressive bouquet, which is floral and fruity and at the same time, imposes its style with delicacy and freshness. Its is fresh, smooth and very thirst-quenching, with notes of white fleshed fruits such as pear and white peach, as well as violet blossoms.
Its texture is smooth, juicy and fruity.
It pairs excellently well with all skind of seafood, white fish, sushi and a wonderful aperitif. An exciting introduction to Alsace wine!
Bosco del Merlo, Pinot Grigio Rose – the Venetian elegance:
Its beautiful bottle and label harmonically correspond to the wine’s personality.
Need a reason to taste this wine? Say no more:
- Sophisticated variant of Pinot Grigio
- Particular and elegant
- Fresh, balanced and pleasant in every aspect.
The colour is peculiar and fascinates at first sight. Aromas of pear, notes of dried flowers and wild strawberries. It’s a dry wine with an excellent flavour for a truly enviable balance.
It pairs wonderfully with raw fish dishes such as fresh salmon sashimi, seafood risotto and aromatic tomato sauce pasta with fresh prawns and basil.
Paladin, Salbanello – the chilled red:
A blend of the delicate softness of “Malbec” and the rich “Cabernet” which can be served chilled and enjoyed throughout the year!
Perfect for every occasion, it is bright red and reminds you of freshly cut strawberries, currants and raspberries. It is velvety, soft and perfectly balanced, with an off-dry illusion. Pairs well with Mediterranean dishes and as a light-bodied red can satisfy red-wine lovers, during hot summer periods!
Best served chilled, almost like white wine, at 10-12° C. Try it, you’ll be impressed!
See you next week!
Until then.. Strike for a glass half full !
